I'm a former community cat who was rescued off the street by my human mama Susan Richard (from 1010 WINS and AllForAnimalsTV) with the help of the NYC Feral Cat Initiative.
I'm now living the VIP life indoors with my fellow Real Housecats of NY and raise awareness about helping community cats in the Big Apple.

I would not have been saved from the street without assistance from the NYC Feral Cat Initiative, a program of Bideawee, whIch helped my now momma humanely trap me and then did a hands-on assessment of my purrsonality -- which turned out to be perfect for indoor life!
HSNY did my initial medical assessment, neuter surgery, vaccinations, FeLV & FIV tests, microchipping and more.
They not only offer affordable Veterinary services but are also a rescue organization with wonderful animals available for adoption.
The street where I was found was too dangerous to TNR (trap-neuter-return) me, so the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals helped to secure placement for me, in the event I was feral (unsocialized) -- which, it turns out, I am most definitely not!
I am a total lovebug but it's great to know I would have had a safe place to go if I wasn't so into people!
